Our Mandate
The commercial drone sector does not lack consumer gadget previews or manufacturer press releases. What working pilots lack is rigorous, unsponsored operational analysis: what an airspace notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) actually requires before takeoff, how federal procurement restrictions affect fleet acquisitions, and the verifiable limits of enterprise hardware in the field.
Editorial Independence & Standards
Every briefing published by The Drone Pilot Brief adheres to strict editorial standards. We cite primary sources—including Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulatory dockets, Federal Register notices, Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) filings, and official agency releases. We do not accept payment for editorial coverage.
